Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani has said that keeping in view the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the provincial assembly has set a new precedent in austerity.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of a two-day workshop for the members of KP Assembly in a hotel of Islamabad, he said that the provincial assembly has so far saved an amount of Rs120 million, saying the resolve will continue.
Besides, 25 members of the assembly, the Secretary Amjad Khan and Special Secretary Attaullah also participated in the workshop.
Similarly, he said that the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the provincial assembly has also collected an amount of Rs5 billion from different departments so far.
