Salman Khan once called off his wedding 5 days before due date because ‘he wasn’t in mood’

Bollywood's most eligible bachelor Salman Khan has dated many women but never settled down with any of them despite being in a relationship with them for years. However, it turns out that he did almost get married but ended up canceling his wedding 5-6 days before the due date because ‘he wasn’t in mood’.

Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, who is one of the close aide of Salman, recently revealed on ‘The Kapil Sharma show’ that Salman and him were to get married on the same day in 1999 but he cancelled his wedding 5-6 days before the due date.

“Everything was set, even cards were sent out. Just six or five days before the due date, he said ‘I don’t have the mood’. After changing his mind, he came on stage during my marriage and whispered in my ears. ‘There is a car outside, take it and run away’,” Sajid said. He, however, didn’t name anyone who Salman was about to get married to.

Over the years, Salman has dated many women including actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sangeeta Bijlani, Katrina Kaif and others. Salman once revealed in the past that he came close to tying the knot with Sangeeta in 1994. During an episode of Koffee with Karan, the actor said that his wedding was called off after Sangeeta ‘kind of’ caught him cheating.
