Jamiat Ullema-e-Islam-F is all set to kick start its anti-government protest march from Karachi to Islamabad on Sunday noon, party officials said on Saturday.

With inaugural speech by JUI-F Chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will formally set off the Kashmir Azadi March from Sohrab Goth at 12 pm. Thousands of JUF-F supporters are expected to turn up for the protest that will head for Islamabad for an indefinite sit-down demonstration aiming at toppling the PTI's federal government.

"A great caravan under the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman will start towards Islamabad on October 27," according to Qari Usman, a local leader of the JUI-F, urging the public and party workers and supporters besides students of religious schools to attend the march in overwhelming numbers. He said that millions of people want to see this government topple as it plagued economy and triggered inflation.

"Preparations for the march have been completed, which people from six districts of Karachi and Lasbela district [Balochistan] will attend," Deputy Information Secretary, JUI-F Sindh, Muhammad Sami Swati said, adding that the march participants from several parts of the city will begin their journey to Sohrab Goth; a main start point of march, at 10 am.

As per schedule of the march: It will begin moving at 12 pm from Sohrab Goth, and will reach Hyderabad at 2 pm, Sakrand at 3 pm, and Sukkur at 8 pm, from where it will resume the journey at 11 am on the morning of October 28, Monday. The march will lead through Panno Aquil, Ghotki and Obaro route to enter Punjab provincial jurisdiction.
