Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar Friday said that Pakistan has fulfilled the promise of Kartarpur Corridor project after foiling Indian conspiracies and lame excuses. Talking to the media, here at Governor House today, he said that India on various occasions tried to halt Kartarpur Corridor project but failed, adding that India was not digesting Kartarpur corridor project but the Sikh community across the world was standing with Pakistan.
The Governor maintained that India through its war hysteria and unprovoked firing at Line of Control tried to instigate Pakistan for halting Kartarpur Corridor project but Pakistan as per promise of Prime Minister Imran Khan has completed the project, whereas Prime Minister Imran khan would formally inaugurate this corridor on Saturday (today).
"Pakistan has completed Kartarpur Corridor project within stipulated time due to which the Sikh community across world was paying tribute to Pakistani leadership on this historic project," he said, adding: "Gurdwara Sahib Kartarpur was a gift from Pakistan to Sikh community; 5,000 Sikh yatrees from India could daily visit here from today." He said that all arrangements regarding 550th birthday celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak have been finalized.
