Amid the political tensions between the two countries, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has praised Pakistan'a air traffic controller for saving a flight coming from India, flying to Oman, after pilot's Mayday alert.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Raveena said, “When humanity wins over politics. Pakistani air traffic controller saves a Jaipur to Muscat flight from disaster”.

The flight coming from India was carrying 150 passengers and was flying over Karachi when it was caught in the middle of many flashes of lightning that could have resulted in a catastrophe.
Soon after, the pilot initiated emergency protocol and broadcasted 'Mayday' to nearby stations. An Air Traffic Controller from Pakistan responded to the call of the pilot and directed it through the dense air traffic over Pakistan.
