On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,303. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.719 billion and the numbers of lots traded was 8,813.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.689 billion, followed by Brent Crude Oil PKR 506.552 million, Crude Oil PKR 493.416 million, Silver PKR 221.054 million, Platinum PKR 216.680 million, Currencies through COTS PKR182.941 million, NSDQ100 PKR 110.751 million, DJ PKR 104.620 million, Natural Gas PKR 102.773 million, Palladium PKR 55.226 million, SP500 PKR 24.867 million and Copper PKR 10.767 million. In agriculture commodities 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.043 million were traded.
