After recovering from back injury, pacer Hasan Ali has suffered rib injury ahead of the Sri Lanka Test series at home. Hasan Ali, who is facing fitness problems, has been diagnosed with three hairline fractures in the right rib. Hasan also underwent a scan in a hospital in Karachi. Doctors have advised the fast bowler to take complete rest. It is not known how long he has been advised to take rest, sources said.
Following his rib injury, Hasan Ali has also been released from Central Punjab's squad for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. It may be noted that before his marriage, Hasan Ali also undergone rehabilitation from a back injury which he sustained earlier this year. A PCB spokesman said that Hasan Ali remains a part of Central Punjab's squad but will feature for the side after recovery from rib injury.
