KARACHI: Ali Musa Gilani, the son of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, has appeared before an investigation officer of the Anti Narcotics Federation (ANF) in the ephedrine case, on Thursday.
On his way to the investigation, accompanied by his lawyer Fawad Chaudhry, he denied any involvement in the ephedrine case.
Musa Gilani's name is among the eight in a report was presented before the Supreme Court by the ANF.
According to the report, Musa increased the quota allotted for exporting drugs with help from the Ministry of Health.
Musa Gilani says he is innocent and he and his family are a victim of conspiracy against them.
It may be mentioned that earlier the ANF had requested the court to put Musa Gilani's name on the Exit Control List (ECL). Musa left for South Africa on a private trip within that week, but has returned and is now facing charges against him in court.
