Sindh Government Constituted a committee at District level as District Heritage Committee headed by Deputy Commissioner as chairman and representatives of Culture & Tourism and Archives as Secretary while in members DEO Semis Habibullah Kumbhar, Associate Professor Noor Ahmed Janghi, Abdul Ghani Khoso, Abdul Karim Dal and Ashok Soothar are included. A meeting held under the Chairmanship of Committee Chairman & Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Dr Shahzad Tahir Thaheem at his office regarding the safety of Cultural heritage and removal of illegal encroachments at the cultural places of the district Tharparkar.
The DC said that every nation has its own culture, heritage and these are their identification so to save the cultural places and heritage all steps would be taken and awareness would be given to our young generations. He also directed to the Committee members and revenue officers to submit a report in a week time after completing survey and demarcation work of illegal encroached land of culture, heritage in the district so that these could be preserved as these are our identification.
