QUETTA: At least four suspects have been killed and their seven accomplices arrested in a shootout took place in Turbat on Friday.
Official sources said that law enforcement agency personnel were busy in search operation in Gaban area, some 20 km off Turbat town when a group of armed men attacked and opened fire at them.
The LEA personnel retaliated the firing."As a result, four armed men were killed in exchange of fire and seven other were arrested," LEA sources said.
The bodies have been shifted to hospital morgue. LEA men also recovered huge cache of weapons from their possession.
The law enforcement personnel has cordoned off the entire area and continued search operation. An investigation team has been interrogating the arrested accused.
