'Imran will remain prime minister till 2023': Sarwar
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that opposition must be mindful of the fact that Imran Khan is the Prime Minister till year 2023.
"The government will 'minus' the corruption, cruelty, injustice and economic crisis from the country," the Governor said, adding: "The government and all the institutions as well as the people are on the same page for progress and prosperity of the country."
The governor maintained that rulers of the past have given nothing to the country but economic crisis, corruption, loot and plunder, price-hike and unemployment that was the very reason, people while rejecting the opposition parties in general election, had reposed confidence in the leadership of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf.
The Governor said the opposition must realize the fact that the PTI came into power through public vote and people have given us five-year mandate to run the government. "The PTI is Imran Khan and Imran Khan is PTI, therefore, opposition should not dream of 'minus one'. As per public mandate, we under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete our five-year constitutional term in government," he said.
Unfortunately, opposition could not see the country on path to progress and prosperity that is why it comes up with new intrigues every day just to serve their political interests but every time it faces an utter failure and it will not succeed in its designs in future as well, while journey of development and prosperity will continue in Naya Pakistan, the Governor said.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that mission of PTI government is only the public service for which all the allied parties are standing firm beside it. What promises we had made with people during general election campaign, will be fulfilled at all costs. Today positive things are coming forth due to viable and effective economic policies of the government and every coming day is bringing progress and prosperity to the country, he added.
