6.4 magnitude earthquake jolts northern Pakistan
- Strong tremors were felt in Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Mansehra and Chitral in the evening.

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake jolted northern areas of the country on Friday evening.
Strong tremors were felt in Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Mansehra, Chitral, local media reported. People left their homes in panic when the quake was felt. No loss of life or property have been reported so far.
According to Indian media, tremors were also felt in Mathura, Lucknow, Prayagraj and other parts of North India.
