Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government is striving to ensure the constitutional rights of all the citizens in accordance with the Islamic principles, practically implemented by the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).

Speaking at the annual International Khatam-e-Nabuwat (PBUH) conference here on Thursday, Qadri said nobody could dare alter the ideology of Islam and Pakistan in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

"Today we have to revalidate our oath at this forum that no Muslim should blame any innocent person with firm belief in the finality of Prophethood (PBUH) as Qadiani without any information and credence to the accusation which is injustice and would harm the cause of the finality of Prophethood," he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant to PM on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Zulfi Bukhari said that the government is devising a policy to uplift the tourism sector as the country has huge potential to attract global tourists, including religious tourism.

Bukhari said the Muslims across the world are proud of Prime Minister Imran Khan for raising voice for the sanctity of the finality of Prophethood and advocating the concept of the welfare state of Medina at international forums.

He said, "Imran Khan also suggested to the international community to devise a legal framework to protect the faith of Khatam-e-Nabuwat (Finality of Prophethood of the Holy Prophet Muahhamd SAWW) as the belief in finality of the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is our entire faith."

"The life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a complete code of life for all social cohorts of humanity whereas overwhelming youth of the Muslim Ummah can play a key role in disseminating the true message of Islam," he said. He said the policy on tourism will prove to be a milestone in the promotion of the tourism sector, adding that the government is taking measures as per international standards in the tourism sector so that it can contribute to the country's development.

He said that the government has chalked out a comprehensive plan based on Egyptian model to develop tourism sites across the country. Bukhari said that tourist destinations in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and other areas would be developed to give the industry a new headway.

The custodian of Golra Sharif, Pir Syed Ghulam Nizam ud Din in his keynote address said, "There should be no conflict and violence in the ranks of Muslim Ummah and all his devotees and followers should take the message of peace and harmony to every Muslim in the society."

A resolution based on three-point agenda was presented in the International Khatam-e-Nabuwat Conference demanding the government to constitute a working group of religious scholars to materialize the idea of making Pakistan a welfare state like Medina by abolishing riba (interest) and imposition of Islamic economic system. The resolution was read out loud and the participants approved it unanimously to present it before the government.
