The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is engaged in talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for Test series between the two countries while insisting that the matches will be played in Pakistan.
The head of the PCB and BCB exchanged views with each other over telephone as well as via email. The PCB ruled out the possibility of playing home Test series in Bangladesh.
PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani insisted that Bangladesh should come to Pakistan to play the Test series. However, it has been proposed to play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in future.
Sources claimed that the PCB is confident of getting a positive response from the BCB in a day or so. It is pertinent to mention that the Bangladesh Cricket Board had earlier agreed to play three T20Is in Pakistan instead of Test series.
