Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Rana Sanaullah Thursday appeared before three member investigation team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in assets beyond means investigation.
Rana remained there and responded to the queries raised by the NAB team, the sources said. "The NAB team also handed over questionnaire to the PML-N leader." Talking to media, Rana Sanaullah said NAB-Niazi nexus is now evident. He said the government of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had nothing to give the country except politics of victimization.
Rana said the entire opposition had a consensus view that fair and free election should be held in 2020. He said that 'selected' government had no ability to run the country. He said street vendors as well as industrialists had been affected badly due to unbridled inflation.
He said former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif would return to the country soon. However, he said the health of Nawaz Sharif, who was in London for treatment, was not well yet.
PML-N spokesperson Marriyam Aurangzeb criticized the NAB's move and claimed that launching of new investigation against Rana Sanaullah proves his innocence in drug recovery case. "NAB-Niazi nexus launched new investigation after failing to prove anything in drug case," she said. She further added that when government fails to suppress opposition with other cases it launches notorious assets beyond means investigation.
