July to December 2019: Revenue collection of MCC, Appraisement (West) falls by 15 percent
The revenue collection of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Appraisement West has witnessed 15 percent decline as compared to the collection of last corresponding period. According to details, the department has collected Rs 117.12 billion from July to December 2019 period as against the collection of Rs 138.33 billion made during preceding period, declining by 15 percent.
Similarly, the collections made under Customs duty, sales tax, income tax and FED showed 23 percent, 4 percent, 19 percent and 61 percent decline, respectively as compared to the collections of last corresponding period.
The accumulated collection in December stood at Rs 23.28 billion as against Rs 25.74 billion collected similar month of previous year, showing 10 percent negative.
Similarly, the collections made under customs duty, income tax and FED showed 14 percent, 14 percent and 34 percent decline, respectively as compared to the collections of last December.
