Giving her take on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepping back as senior royals, PM Imran Khan’s former wife Jemima Goldsmith has disclosed in a tweet that she can relate to being attacked for marrying a hero from another country, ethnicity and religion.
Jemima was married to Imran for nine years [1995-2004] and they have two sons together. Jemima said she knows what it is like to be married to a national hero from a different country and ethnicity. “I don’t necessarily agree with the way Meghan and Harry have handled things but I know what Princess Diana went through and what it’s like to marry a national hero from another country and be attacked by the media for your ethnicity (too Jewish, in my case),” she wrote.

Although, Jemima and Imran parted ways in 2004 but she is still very supportive of her former husband through his difficult times.
