They must do it now without any further loss of time. The inordinate delay in the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has made a total mockery of an institution that certainly constitutional sanctity. It was on Wednesday that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted 10 more days for their appointments.
According to Chief Justice Minallah, it is collective responsibility of everyone to maintain dignity of the Parliament. The IHC order is expected to bring our parliament out of its slumber.
