Provincial Minister for Law and Social Welfare Basharat Raja on Monday inaugurated an exhibition titled "Charming Pakistan" at the Lahore Arts Council (LAC) to showcase beautiful foliage, valleys and flowing streams to the public.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Basharat said that Pakistan is a beautiful country and its culture attracts the world. He said the federal and provincial governments were taking measures to make this country too attractive for tourism. "Pakistan is a peaceful country and its people are very loving," the minister said. He hoped that such exhibitions would promote a soft image of Pakistan.
LAC Executive Director Ather Ali khan said they exhibited 50 photographs of Gulraiz Ghouri which were the reflection of wonderful and beautiful lands of the county. "Pakistan is unique because of its weathers, high mountains, deserts, art and culture," he concluded. The exhibition was largely attended by the people.
