South African star batsman Hashim Amla has joined Peshawar Zalmi as a batting mentor for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five.
The PSL season five is all set to kick off next month with a glittering opening ceremony at the National Stadium Karachi on February 20. This will be the first time that the entire PSL will be held in Pakistan.
Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi said, “Hashim Amla is a legendary batsman and a big name in world cricket, and welcomed him to the Zalmi family.”

Zalmi Head Coach and Director Cricket Mohammad Akram expressing his views said, “He is happy on Hashim Amla’s association with Peshawar Zalmi. His experience will help all the batsmen in the team.”
