India's Supreme Court doing little or nothing

How ironic and disturbing it is that internet access was partially restored in most of occupied Jammu & Kashmir on January 25 by India, but service remained slow and social media platforms and many local news websites remain blocked. According to the Kashmir Press Club, organisations in the region still lack broadband internet access 177 days after the shutdown was implemented, although India's Supreme Court has ruled that freedom of speech "using of medium of internet is constitutionally protected."

That India's apex court is doing little or nothing in relation to highly objectionable August 5 Kashmir actions of Narendra Modi government is a fact. India's Supreme Court must stop acting like a handmaiden of BJP government. It must ensure that internet access is fully restored and detained Kashmiri leaders and others are released without any further loss of time.
