Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that Pakistan will continue supporting the Kashmiris in their struggle for right of self-determination as per the resolutions of the United Nations (UN) and will always stand by the oppressed Kashmiris.
Addressing at a seminar here on Monday organized by Private Schools Association Islamabad in connection with upcoming Kashmir Solidarity Day (February 5), the speaker said Kashmiri people have rendered immense sacrifices for their right to self-determination over the past 72 years.
The Kashmir Solidarity Day event was also attended by Federal Minster for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, besides a large number of private sector educational institutions of the capital territory, raising their voice for the freedom of the people of Kashmir.
Asad Qaiser said Kashmir dispute is a humanitarian issue. He pointed out that Modi government has usurped the fundamental rights of Kashmiri people. He said there is shortage of medicines and food items in occupied Kashmir and a complete communications blockade has been imposed there.
Addressing the event, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Khan Gandapur said that nine hundred thousand Indian troops have unleashed oppression against innocent Kashmiri people in Occupied Kashmir.
