The Met Office has forecast slightly above normal rainfall for the country's southern half and normal to slightly below normal rainfall over northern half during Feb 2020. Two to three western weather systems are likely to approach after mid-February, it said, which may cause scattered light to moderate rainfall in southern and southwestern, central and northern parts of the country. It said that the third and fourth weeks are expected to be wetter as compared to rest of the days of this month. Snow is also likely to fall over high mountain in north Balochistan, Kashmir and Northern areas of Pakistan.
