Futures spread down by 845 basis points

The futures spread declined by 845bps to 8.14 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter improved as average daily volumes increased by 22.2 percent to 76.72 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 62.80 million shares. Average daily trading value on the futures counter increased by 19.7 percent to Rs 3.08 billion.
