Peshawar claimed the trophy after defeating Attock in the final of the 4th Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Twenty20 Blind Cricket Cup played here at Hayatabad Sports Complex on Sunday. Peshawar won the toss and elected to bat first by setting up a target of 222 for three wickets with the help of an elegant century scored by Mohsin. Mohsin smashed all the bowlers with his classic batting and made an unbeaten knock of 104 runs.
In reply Attock was struggling from the start losing their early wickets. Moshin once again proved his self with the ball claiming 3 wickets. Amir Khan was the top scorer, hitting only 16 runs. Attock were all out for 98 runs in 12.5 overs.
Moshin Khan was declared as Man of the Final.
Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, Deputy Director Social Welfare Special Education and Women Empowerment Madam Nusrat Jabeen, Officer in charge, Hassan Tariq, Marketing Bank of Khyber, Ehtisham Khan Khattak, Area Sales Manager Shama Cooking Oil and Banaspati, Javed Yousaf Ali and Nazeer Shah, Deputy Director Special Education Complex and Rizwan Ahmad, Officer in charge Special Education Complex were the guests and distributed prizes amongst the players.
Player of the Tournament was B1: Muhammad Sohail (Attock), B2: Haroon Khan (Peshawar), B3: Naeem Ullah (Peshawar), Best wicket-keeper Muhammad Waseem (Peshawar) was also awarded.
