Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) reported on Thursday a new case of coronavirus taking the total number of cases to 21 in Pakistan.
According to health department official, 31-year-old has tested positive for the coronavirus in Skardu. The patient returned to Pakistan on February 25 after travelling to Iran, local media reported. This new case takes the tally to three in GB.
On Wednesday, a 14-year-old hailing from Skardu was confirmed by the GB government to have tested positive for the virus. The teenager arrived in Skardu on March 4 and had symptoms of the coronavirus on March 6. He was then shifted to an isolation ward.
