The Sindh Assembly was Friday adjourned for March 27 after mourning the death of its female lawmaker Shahnaz Ansari.
On the request of Sindh Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Speaker Aga Siraj Khan Durrani put off the sitting to Friday, March 27. The house met one hour late from its scheduled time with a very thin presence. The house mourned the death of slain legislator of PPP, Shahnaz Ansari, who was killed in Naushehro Feroze in February 2020.
The house also offered Dua for former City Nazim Naimatullah Khan, slain journalist Aziz Memon, PTI's Naeem-ul-Haq, besides PAF pilot Wing Commander Noman Akram for embracing martyrdom in a jet crash in Islamabad.
