FM Qureshi says he is self-isolating after trip to China

• He said he has been waiting for his coronavirus test result.
• The FM went to China on a two-day official visit.

After returning from his two-day trip to China, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he has decided to isolate himself as a precaution for a few days due to the coronavirus.

Talking to a local media channel, the FM said that once he landed in China, the Chinese officials took a blood test which both came back negative. He further said after the meeting with President Xi Jinping, another test was conducted the results of which have not come yet.

He said after five days another test will be conducted."But I have decided to self-isolate myself and will try to follow protocol," he said.
