Coronavirus cases: Government urged to take prompt precautionary steps
The Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman, Muhammad Faiq Shah has called upon the government to take prompt economic and emergency precautionary measures to ensure life safety amid the increasing cases of coronavirus in parts of the country. Faiq Shah while chairing a meeting here at the party's central secretariat on Saturday said the government and people can jointly control over the epidemic situation.
He urged the people belonging from different walk of life to play their proactive role to overcome with this alarming situation. The meeting was attended by Muhammad Awais Khan, Mansoor Qaiser Chouhan, Arsalan Shah, Ishtiaq Elahi Jadoon, Raja Bashir Ahmad, Talha Ahmad Chatta and others.
"We must set aside political, regional and sectarian differences and should join hands to defeat the coronavirus pandemic", ATP chief stressed. Shah highlighted that the role of religious clerics is vital in the current scenario. He demanded of the government to designate focal persons in all provinces, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir and should take steps based on justice for provision of best healthcare facilities for coronavirus affected people.
The party leader stressed that the teachings of collective atone and cleanliness is half faith should be followed practically that will only make possible success, prosperity and welfare. He vowed that ATP will continue its awareness and reformative campaign across the country.
