Chairman Pakistan Tanner's Association(PTA) Sheikh Afzal Hussain has urged all electric supply organizations like KE, LESCO etc to immediately announce the extension in deadline envisaged in their electric bills already issued to the consumers in Pakistan in general and at Karachi in particular for at least one month in view of the gravity of the situation and matter prevailing within the country which would certainly enable the users especially industrial consumers to defray the bills with convenience by the extended deadline of 1 month.
It is expected that the Sindh government may announce complete locked down in Sindh particularly Karachi for which the chairman PTA sheikh Afzal Hussain on his own behalf and on behalf of entire central executive committee of PTA and leather industry extend full support and cooperation with his decision for lock down in Sindh which would be last resort to save the precious lives of the citizens of Sindh and Pakistan from the fatal virus of Corona pandemic, which is spreading gradually.
At the conclusion the chairman PTA sheikh Afzal Hussain strongly requested to all electric supply organizations specially K Electric to extend the deadline for at least one month for making payment of electricity bills which is utmost imperative for leather industry of Pakistan as to be termed a great source of facilitation with motivation to PTA member exporters of leather.
