(Karachi) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Ajmal Khan Wazir has said that the members of Tablighi Jamaat in the province will be facilitated by the government.
Addressing a press briefing in Peshawar on Wednesday, he said the district administrations in K-P have been instructed to look after and fulfil the needs of the Jamaat members.
Wazir mentioned that there are more than 5,000 Jamaat members in the province while some of them had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
He 310 of the Jamaat members are foreigners. “They are our guests and they’ll be given due respect,” he remarked. The Jamaat members will leave once their coronavirus tests are conducted.
So far, more than 500 people have tested positive for coronavirus in K-P.
