Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen praising Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif said he was the bet bowler he has ever face, while also stated that batsmen around the cricket world would be happy to see him get banned.
The right-arm pacer had dismissed Pietersen twice in both Tests and One-day Internationals (ODI), while he sent him back to the dug out on one occasion in shortest format of the game, Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
The 37-year-old’s career plunged into darkness after he was handed seven-year ban for his involvement in the 2010 spot-fixing scandal in England.
“I think there’s plenty batters around the world that were happy he got banned! He was the best I faced! I had no idea against him!” said Pietersen while quoting video clip of his dismissal against Asif.
