Millat Tractors to resume operations after provincial govt lockdown exemption
- Millat Tractors has shut down its operations after lockdowns were imposed by the provincial government in wake of rising cases of coronavirus in the country.
Millat Tractors Limited announced on Tuesday that it will be resuming its production operations from April 15, 2020 (Wednesday) in wake of exemption granted to the tractor industry.

“In furtherance to our earlier disclosure dated March 30, 2020, regarding the suspension of production operations after lockdown orders of provincial governments due to COVID-19 pandemic. It is hereby informed that the company will resume its production operations from April 15, 2020, in view of exemption from lockdown, granted to tractor industry by the provincial governments,” stated Millat Tractors Limited in its filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
It may be mentioned here that a number of textile mills have already resumed their operations. Meanwhile, the government will decide about the extension of lockdown in a National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting to be held today.
