(Karachi) Brigadier Muhammad Ahmad assumed charge as Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Military Secretary for a three-year term on Wednesday. He replaces Brigadier Waseem Iftikhar Cheema after his term ended.
Ahmad belongs to AK-21 Regiment and has served on important positions in the military.
Meanwhile, outgoing Military Secretary Waseem Iftikhar met the prime minister in Islamabad. During the meeting, Imran Khan appreciated the services of the outgoing military secretary and wished him success for his future engagements.
Brigadier Waseem Iftikhar Cheema, who served at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), has been assigned to command a brigade at Lahore Corps.
