All Pakistan Oil Tanker Owners Association (APOTOA) senior vice chairman Mir Shams Shahwani Saturday urged the Sindh government to resolve oil transportation sector's issues in next 72 hours, otherwise the association will park all oil tankers in front of Bilawal House, till the end of the lockdown.

The PPP government would be responsible for any mishap, he said while talking to media. He expressed the fear that the country may face severe fuel crisis as the Sindh government has outrightly rejected the federal government's directives.

Shahwani said due to closure of hotels and shops on highways, the oil tanker drivers are facing difficulties in having quality food. All tyre puncture shops along highways are also closed causing hardships to oil transporters.

Sindh government, instead of ensuring transport friendly environment in this crucial time, is causing problems for the oil tanker owners.

Shahwani urged Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed, President Dr Arif Alvi, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail to intervene and resolve the issues facing the oil transporters. He said smooth oil transportation would help farmers continue cropping and construction industry to continue its works smoothly.
