Sindh government has placed ban on taraweeh prayers during the month of Ramazan started on April 25.
In his video message, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that he had discussed the issue with President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi and with is consent Sindh government has taken this step to avoid spread of Coronavirus.
He requested the religious leaders and Ulema to support the decision of the Sindh government.
He said that next 15 days are very critical in this regard and doctors also advised to put ban on large congregations in mosques.
He said the home deliveries of essential commodities are allowed.
