The 20-beded ICU equipped with latest ventilators of interior Sindh and 20-beded High Dependency Unit for coronavirus patients had been established in Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) Hyderabad.
Besides, measures were being taken for establishing 15-beded modern ICU and 25-beded High Dependency Unit in Liaquat University Hospital Jamshoro which not only cater the need of people of Hyderabad but people of remote areas of the province could also be benefited as well.
This was informed by Medical Superintendent Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad Dr Shahid Islam Jonejo. He said that on the directives of Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho modern ICU had been established at Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad.
He informed that doctors, nurses and paramedical staff in Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad and Jamshoro were providing treatment to people coming from 15 districts of the province where patients were also being provided MRI, CT Scan, pathology tests and medicine free of cost.
