Futures spread up by 126bps

The futures spread increased by 126bps to 3.93 percent on the last day of the outgoing week.

Trading activities on the futures counter however remained low as average daily volumes decreased by 53.6 percent to 46.78 million shares during this week as compared to previous week's average of 100.84 million shares.

Average daily trading value on the futures counter declined by 44.5 percent and stood at Rs 2.51 billion during this week.
