  • The pacer had generated over RS1 million by auctioning his personal cricket belongings last month and donated the amount to help the people suffering from the crises.

After successfully auctioning cricketer gear, Pakistan pacer Rumman Raees with the help of fellow cricketers put some historic cricket memorabilia for auction again in order to serve the COVID-19 victims.

The pacer had generated over RS1 million by auctioning his personal cricket belongings last month and donated the amount to help the people suffering from coronavirus crises.

Keeping the current lockdown situation in Pakistan under consideration, Rumman and co. have decided to auction a few more cricket memorabilia to generate fund for the victims.

This auction includes, the ball signed by former Pakistan captain and current Prime Minister Imran Khan, which starts at Rs200,000. It is donated by Sikander Bakht for the auction. Pakistan sweater which team wore during series against Australia in 2003. It starts at Rs50,000.

Asad Shafiq’s Test shirt, which he wore during historic Pakistan-Bangladesh series. Ball signed by Australian all-rounder Shane Watson. Minimum bid for both start at Rs100,000.

Cricket bat signed by legendary South African batsman Hashim Amla is also up for auction. Dr Kashif Ansari donated the willow for the cause and it starts at Rs500,000. Another bat signed by entire Quetta Gladiator squad is also up for auction and it too starts at Rs500,000.

Anwar Ali’s Pakistan shirt is also up for auction with minimum bid of Rs100,000.

Rumman Raees thanking all the donners wrote: “Thanks to all my colleagues and mentors for giving their valuable stuff for auction. The amount raised from these auctions will be used to help support the people suffering due to ongoing crisis. Be generous and place your bids on given contact details.”

The auction will end on Sunday, April 10.
