All public & private schools will remain close till July 15, 2020 in Punjab due to coronavirus.

In a tweet on Thursday, Minister for school education Punjab Dr Murad Raas said "the lives of our children, teachers and their families are top priority. The details of promotion to next classes and board exams will be explained in the notification.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Punjab Minister for education Murad Raas rejected the rumours that the schools would be opened on 1st June, saying that safety of children and teachers was their first priority.

The provincial minister for School Education, Murad Raas, took to Twitter to dismiss fake news, attributed to his name, which stated that the government has decided to open schools from the first of June.
