Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that decision regarding promotion policy for students of class 9-12 whose exams have been cancelled will be announced today.

In a tweet the minister said a comprehensive meeting of all education ministers took place today regarding the cancellation of exams due to coronavirus. He said he will be addressing a presser later in the afternoon today.

Meanwhile, the Government of Sindh has decided to cancel matriculation and intermediate examinations and promote students to the next year.
