PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Prisons, Mian Nisar Gul Kaka Khel announced Rs.6.5million for Battagram Sub-Jail and construction of two new barracks.
He was visiting Battagram sub-jail along with IG Prisons, Khalid Abbass on Tuesday. During the visit the minister listen the problems of prisoners regarding shortage of drinking water, scarcity of medicine and directed DPO Battagram Musarat Hussain to look into the matter.
The minister also announced Rs.6.5million for the jail and construction of two new barracks in the jail for providing proper accommodation to inmates.
