‘Gippi’ - Dharma Productions present to Children

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is renowned for its family drama and melodious songs. For the first time, the production house is preparing to launch a movie “Gippi” aimed exclusively at children.

This movie will be directed by Sonam Nair who assisted Ayan Mukherjee with 'Wake up Sid'. This is the first time that Dharma Productions are introducing a female Director.

The movie has already completed shooting in Shimla, while shooting in Mumbai is currently in progress.

After a long series of auditions, the Director selected newcomer Riya Vij from Delhi. The 13-year-old girl has no prior experience in front of camera but has won a coveted role in the Dharma family.

The film's release date has yet to be announced.
