Heroine’ to be Kareena’s ‘finest film’ says Director

KARACHI: One of Bollywood’s most versatile actresses Kareena Kapoor, has been slaving day-in and day-out filming Madhur Bhandarkar most ambitious release to date, “Heroine”.

Director Bhandarkar praised Kapoor saying, “Heroine is Kareena’s finest film.”

The film is based on the life of a Bollywood heroine. It portrays the bold, shocking, scandalous and sensitive goings-on behind the glamorous life of film stars.

This time Kapoor will take the audience on a voyage to witness what really goes on behind closed doors, in make-up rooms and vanity vans.

Heroine will highlight different phases of life from the height of fame, to the depths of failure, and the politics within the lucrative industry.

According to Indian media sources, the movie is left with just one song to be filmed before filmmakers will go into the final stages of post-production and promotion.

The movie is scheduled for release on September 21 of this year.
