Saif Ali Khan to play comic superhero

KARACHI: After Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, it’s now Saif Ali Khan’s turn to don a superhero cape in Milan Luthria's next film.

The film, to be directed by Milan Luthria, will be produced by T-Series Chief Executive Officer Bhushan Kumar. "We are making a superhero film with Saif Ali Khan and Milan Luthria will be Directing it. We are extremely happy about the project and delighted to have Saif and Milan on board," Kumar was quoted as saying.

Khan had earlier teamed up with Luthria for his debut film Kachche Dhaage. The makers have yet to finalise a female lead to act opposite Khan. "It will be a different kind of a superhero film. We are creating a unique comic world of superhero. It is a comical world," Kumar added.

When asked if the film would be along similar lines as superhero films RA.One and Krrish, Kumar remained tight-lipped about the project saying only that, "Our superhero is not like RA.One or Krrish, it is very different. I can’t reveal too much."
