KARACHI: Queen of Controversy Veena Malik is again grabbing headlines after her recent record-breaking achievement, where she won the tag of the “sexiest woman in the world” in an online poll on a website.

And the lady has apparently beaten the likes of Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Angelina Jolie to take the top spot.

Ask her whether she is thrilled with this newfound status of being tagged as the sexiest woman, and Veena said rather shyly: "I don’t think I am sexy! In fact, I m a simple, homely girl! It’s the people who see this oomph quotient in me! My needs are simple, and I get pleasure from the most mundane things in life.”

When asked who, according to her, is the sexiest actress in Bollywood, Veena said without any hesitation: "In India, I have met some of the prettiest and sexiest women.”

“Twinkle Khanna is so elegant and classy.”

“Malaika Arora Khan is also extremely sexy. But, the sexiest gal of them all is Kareena Kapoor.”

”So, I was really thrilled when I was voted ahead of her in the online poll. But, she will always remain the prettiest and most oomphy gal of our times!"
