tablewebKARACHI: Chinese players Ma Long, Zhang Jike and Wang Hao defeated Republic of Korea in the men’s team final.

According to media sources, China victoriously succeeds with a second sweep of Olympic Table Tennis gold.

The trio from Republic of Korea: Ryu Seungmin, Joo Saehyuk and Oh Sangeun were unable to perform their best; they got a straight defeat from 3-0.

Sources added that both Jike of Japan and Saehyuk of Korea faced a tough competition. There were several situations when Zhang deliver forehand collisions and loops that his opponent tried to chop back.

The gold medalists Jike and Hao, who were rivals in the Singles final, join there hands in the Doubles and successfully defeated Sangeun and Seungmin.

Germany holds a bronze success as their trio of Timo Boll, Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Bastian Steger beat Hong Kong by 3-1.
