KARACHI: The Madras High Court has ordered an issue of a second notice to Indian cricket board chief and Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor on a petition regarding alleged “uncensored and indecent” dance programmes during the IPL-V inaugural show.
Advocate K. Jebakumar filed a petition and alleged that the entire Indian Premiere League
inaugural show, held at the YMCA grounds in Chennai on April 3 was “uncensored, denigrating men and women, obscene and lascivious” and was also telecast all over the world.
Jebakumar had already approached the High Court seeking a direction to Director General of
Police and Inspector General of Police of Central and South zone, to investigate and
register a complaint.
So far no action had been taken against the stars.
The court had earlier ordered issue of notice on July 18.
