KARACHI: South Korean music sensation Psy has burst upon the world via YouTube video that has been viewed by over 32 million people in just one month.
The video has received over 32 million hits since mid-July, eclipsing the total for the teen sensation Justin Bieber’s most recent effort.
The music video ‘Gangnam Style’, with its trademark ‘horse dance’, has spawned numerous tribute clips and countless parody videos since its release.
The young rapper had no idea that his video would go globally viral when he released it last month.
"The YouTube video never targeted foreign countries. It was for local fans," Psy said.
The video has also grabbed the attention of YouTube superstar Justin Bieber himself. Bieber’s manager and Psy are reportedly meeting this week in Los Angeles to explore the possibility of collaboration.
