france factory 400ISLAMABAD: France on Thursday expressed shock over the heavy loss of lives in fire incidents at Karachi and Lahore and extended deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.

 

A statement issued here by the French embassy quoting a Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France stated; "We were deeply shocked to learn that two fire in Pakistan - in Karachi and in Lahore - have, according to the latest report, resulted in the death of more than 200 people.

 

"In these painful circumstances, we extend our condolences to the families and friends of the victims," the statement said.
